Frantz M. Berthaud is the Administrative Director, Disease Center Operations of the Lowe Center for Thoracic Oncology and the Center for Cancer Therapeutic Innovation. He’s accountable for the personnel, finance, and clinical operations for the hospital's lung cancer and phase 1 centers. At DFCI, he serves as co-chair for the employee resource group shaping and informing the Institute’s diversity, equity, and inclusion (DE&I) strategy and on the hospital’s ethics committee. His decade-plus experience in healthcare ranges from research, management, operations, to strategy. Frantz teaches healthcare strategy at the graduate school level at Boston University School of Public Health (BUSPH) where he also serves on an advisory board. Frantz is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) serving as co-chair on the DE&I and as a member of the programs committees. In all of his roles, he applies a strategic and social justice lens informed by his commitment to health care equity.
